Sharing an idea that might work

Disclaimer: This is just my opinion based only on my experiences. 

I think the objective should be different! It should not be taken to solve problem, but as to reward self for doing the hard work that must be done and has been done. I had kept a kind of rule that I must achieve at least some small steps of my goals for self improvement, personal growth, skills improvement, side hustles, gym workouts, etc. 

Whenever I experience any stressful situation, I deal with discipline, mindfulness, wisdom and hard work. Only after the stress has been relieved that I am allowed to intake nicotine. That too, only if I feel interest, and small dosage. And, it is true that there is hardly any benefit from smoking. Research shows it harms our health in different ways. Not only that, even other people can suffer illness from secondary smoking. I have experiences that the happiness from doing the hard work itself is more fulfilling.

By using these techniques, I think it is possible to be free from addiction of nicotine more easily, which is considered to be one of the hardest to quit.
